We’re launching a special Summer Deal for the Original Prusa XL. It runs for a limited time, so if you’re looking to expand your workshop with a proper multi-material machine, the best moment is now. Get the 2-head and 5-head XL with free shipping worldwide, plus a selection of PLA and PETG filaments.
One of the things the XL does incredibly well is top-quality printing with various materials! It’s an absolute beast for PETG, PCCF, and many more. The factory-tuned profiles for a wide range of filaments ensure that no matter what filament you choose, you’ll get perfect-quality results, not just with PLA. The XL remains the fastest and most efficient multi-material solution, capable of producing zero-waste multi-material prints.
Summer Deal Details
The Summer promo runs from June 18th, 2025, 3:30 a.m. PST (12:30 p.m. CET) to July 9th, 12:01 a.m. PST (9:01 a.m. CET) and applies to all variants of the Original Prusa XL 2-Toolhead and 5-Toolhead (assembled and semi-assembled + bundles). Single-Toolhead versions are not included.

This also applies to XL + Enclosure Bundles (again, 2-Tool and 5-Tool), and you can also add XL accessories: sheets, nozzles, and the Buddy3D camera. To make things easier, we created a special XL Summer Sale Accessories category in the e-shop. Please keep in mind that adding other items (not included in the sale) to your order will cancel out the free shipping offer. You can always double-check in your cart whether the free shipping option is valid for the current cart configuration. The maximum allowed price is 12,990 USD (excl. VAT) and 12.990 EUR (VAT incl.) for the entire cart.
Prusa XL in 2025
As with all our machines, we continue to support and enhance the XL years after launch. In this year alone, we have already released 5 firmware updates for the XL, bringing new features, improving user experience, and also tackling reported rare issues and edge cases to make sure the XL delivers consistent, reliable performance. And we plan to continue with our support in the future (we’re also preparing a new Prusa Academy course focused on the XL), and we have recently teased upcoming toolhead upgrades.
The recent firmware releases further improved the speed of back-to-back consecutive toolchanges, tackled a rare case of layer shifts, and smoothed out the overall user experience. All XL models are also equipped with Phase Stepping calibration, which ensures that the printer is wonderfully silent and produces even better prints – you can read more about it here.
“Overall, I think the Prusa XL is an absolutely amazing 3D printer.”
– M. M’s Prop Shop
And the entire user experience was also massively upgraded with the addition of EasyPrint and enhanced Prusa Connect streaming capabilities.
Faster than ever, anywhere you are
In case you missed it, we have completely expanded how slicing is done: EasyPrint is now available on any mobile device via Prusa App. Phones, tablets, laptops, Chromebooks, and more. You don’t need a capable PC to download and run a dedicated slicing application. Instead, simply use your phone to browse Printables, and anything you find interesting can be sliced in seconds using EasyPrint. It’s a real slicer, not just a fancy way to send a pre-made file to your machine.
Pick a material, level of detail, and supports, slice the model, and send it wirelessly via Prusa Connect to your XL. Since we’re now using effective file compression and file streaming, your XL will quickly receive the first part of the print file and start a new print immediately.
Needless to say, this is not a replacement for PrusaSlicer. We continue to improve our robust slicing app with everything an advanced user might ever need.
New approach to material color management
EasyPrint is fully prepared for the XL, with tools for painting (virtual brush, smart fill) and now a completely new workflow for assigning materials. Let’s say you place several colored prints on a single print sheet. Each of them can have, e.g., a slightly different shade of red. But if you have a red filament loaded in your XL, which you want to use across all objects, you simply drag and drop all the various shades to a single extruder and you’re done! You don’t have to repaint anything.
Get more out of the XL with accessories
We also have a number of useful add-ons and accessories for the XL, including a comprehensive Enclosure that turns the XL into a fully enclosed printer with the Advanced Filtration System – the perfect environment for printing demanding materials. You can get it as a bundle in the Summer Deal – simply pick the Enclosure in the right menu on the XL’s product page.
There is also a new type of print sheet – the XL PP Powder-Coated Print Sheet and we made big improvements to the Buddy3D camera. More updates are coming soon with:
- Basic camera controls (Status, rotation, Day/Night mode, volume settings, etc.)
- On-demand snapshot
- Updating camera firmware using the Prusa mobile app
- Time-lapse support (storing images on the SD card)
- Video streaming over a local network
We’re currently testing these features in-house, and we’ll let you know once the update is out!
Happy printing!
Prusa has massive problems to ship the Core One, be it the assembled printer or the kit or the conversion kit. And now there's a summer deal for the XL? … I wonder if you guys are bored?
Is this a joke? Not even in four years has there been a decent implementation of multinozzle.
Is there any news on the non-FDM toolheads?
Why? Why! Why it is not for Core One?
So much troubles with my Xl….
I just got an XL with five heads three weeks ago and it is working amazing. It’s my first printer and just putting things on default. Everything‘s turning out wonderfully, even with random brands of filament that I’ve tried off of Amazon. The cables on top have screws to hold them in place now. The have definitely gotten most the bugs worked out now I am so happy with mine
"and we have recently teased upcoming toolhead upgrades." where has this been teased?
Can't wait to see the XL printhead upgrade (is there a link to the tease?) but otherwise our XLs are extremely reliable workhorse printers, and our CoreOnes as well. Just recently ordered 2 more CoreOnes directly from Prusa in EU and both arrived in mid-west US within 4 to 5 days of ordering (ordered just the printers with satin sheets, no other addons). Our XLs were ordered from PrintedSolid with just a couple of day delivery as well. This is in addition to orders for spare parts, filaments, etc. from both PrintedSolid and direct from Prusa over the past 2 months with 3 to 5 day delivery on all of them regardless of which we ordered from. Keep up the great work Prusa! We will be ordering more XLs and CoreOnes in the coming weeks/months.

Some people consider information concerning the MMU3 for the Core One presented in the following video by Prusa

to be a teaser for possible upcoming toolhead upgrades.
Josef,
Thank you for your summer special. I have been a loyal user and fan of prusa machines, your ethos and the company in general since the Mk2.
Wanting a bigger bed and multi material (not just colour) I’m looking to upgrade and was looking at the XL two head but even with the special simply can’t justify the cost given the competition out there (and the “tease” of new heads …. Meaning I’d have to spend even more to upgrade).
All the best ….. I’ll miss the eco system ….
